Blessings of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit

Anointing of the Holy Spirit:

Anointing means smearing a holy oil on a person as a sign that he had the right and the responsibilities Exodus 28:41. Anointing carried with the authority with the gift of God, special power or the gift of his Spirit, for carrying out some specific tasks I Samuel 16:13. Anointing of the Holy Spirit is in the spiritual presence of God and not of the flesh.

Blessings of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit:

The message is entitled ‘The Blessing of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit and his Revelation’ Amen! The key verse is I Corinthians 2:9to 11. The Bible tells us no eye has seen, ear has heard, and heart can perceive what God has stored for those who love him, Hallelujah!

We can see naturally but we cannot see we cannot hear, and we cannot perceive with our heart spiritually, but only through the Holy Spirit. By the Holy Spirit, we receive this blessing. We receive this when we believe in Jesus Christ. It is the Holy Spirit that searches all things. The anointing is holy and teaches us the deeper things of God. In Proverbs 20:27 it says the spirit of the man is the lamp of God, for the Holy Spirit searches the innermost part of the man. God wants to bring us up to the higher glorious realm where He is. When God created each one of us, He creates us with a plan and purpose. It was ordained and predestined from the foundation of the world certain things that would happen in our lives. Ephesians 1:3,4 says Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ who has blessed us from the heavenly places with the all-spiritual blessings from the foundation of the world. Amen!

In the book of Mathew 3:11, why did Jesus Christ come to the world? He came to anoint us, fill us with the Holy Spirit fire and Holy Spirit power. What God has stored for those who love him? What does it mean for us to love God? When we love him, we start to obey him In John 14:23 says Jesus said “If you love me, you will obey me.” So we must obey God. When we love Him, we automatically obey him, and at the moment the Holy Spirit will begin to reveal all the great things that God has stored all around us for our life from the foundation of the world.

The first blessing is the blessing of the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon our life. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us as an anointing, He will open our eyes and we will be able to see both the protection and the provision that God has given us. Amen! He wants us to open our eyes so we get the Holy Spirit by the voice of God and the word of God. John 6:63 says that the word of Jesus is life and Spirit. His voice is very powerful. Hagar said God is “El Roi”. He is the God who sees me in my need and sees my affliction in Genesis 16:13. Our God is El Roi; He sees our need and our affliction. He has a great plan and purpose for our life no matter what we are going through in our life. Jesus said to Hagar ‘I will make you a great nation’. Our God is great and he wants his children to be great in his plans. He will make each one of us great in his sight. God is not looking at our circumstances or the problems. He always looking to what he has ordained and what he is predestined from the foundation of the world. He knows the plan for us and it’s a great plan because we are His child. In Psalms 147:5, Psalm 135:5 says we need not discover anything about our lives we need not try to make anything happen all we need to do is uncover. Hagar was in a place called Beersheba which means ‘a place of many wells.’ When she was thirsty, she didn’t see the water surrounding her. She didn’t look around and see the blessing. In the same way we might not able to see the great promise of our life, because we are busy seeing the obstacles in our life. When the enemy comes in like a flood, instead of staring at the flood, remember he said that he will raise a standard against that enemy and the flood Isaiah 59:19. When the words and the curses come against us, we have to remember God’s promise in Isaiah 54:17 said that ‘no weapon formed against us shall prosper’ we have to remember when it seems like everything is going awry and there’s no future and no hope and no plan, we have to remember that God’s promise in Jeremiah 29: 11 says that ‘I have plans to prosper you and not harm you.’ We have to remember that God is with us. He is Immanuel, as in Matthew 1: 23. All the promises of God on our lives, both the general promises and the specific promises of God, His plans and purposes as in Job 42:2 will not be defeated in your life. He will accomplish what he ordained from the foundations of the world. Amen! Hagar’s eyes were opened and she was able to have the water and able to live. God fulfilled his promise. So, God is with us and He has a promise upon our life. The word will never fall to the ground and when our eyes are opened by the Holy Spirit not only we will be able to see the promise of God, we will also be able to see His protection in our life.

In the Bible II Kings 6:17, Elisha defeated thousands of troops with the help of God. Romans 8:13 says ‘if God is for you who can be against you?’ When our eyes are blind, we are not able to see the plan and purposes of God, so we have to open our eyes. By his anointing of the Holy Spirit, He opens our eyes so we can able to see. We must understand that when our spiritual inward eye is opened, we can see all the blessings, all the provision, and the protection that God has stored all around our lives in Jesus Christ. He is the well of salvation Isaiah 12:3 the Holy Spirit is the living water. The bible says in John 7: 37, 38 that rivers of living water flow from us. So we just have to open our spiritual inward eye. We can then see the living water, the well of salvation in his name – Jesus Christ and that He is around you and sending his angels all around you, to meet the our needs. We must put our trust in God; we cannot walk in the flesh. Jeremiah 17: 5,6 says ‘cursed is the man who trusts in the flesh, for even though there is blessing stored all around him he cannot see it,’ Amen! So, we must put our trust in God. When we cry out for Him to open our eyes, automatically we will be able to see Gods power and we will also be able to see His plan for our life. Amen Hallelujah!

Apart from the Holy Spirit, no eyes have seen what God has in store for those who love him. I Corinthians 2:9-11 No ear can hear what God has stored up for you, but you can hear the voice of God by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When the Spirit comes into our life, we will turn from sinful ways to spiritual ways. When we do, then the resurrection power will help us to hear the voice of God. We can hear the voice of God only by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The voice of the Lord is more powerful. When we come into the presence of God, we will be able to hear his voice. We must be attentive in the presence of God, and then we will hear the voice of the Lord, and we can hear by the Holy Spirit. Amen

Let’s close our eyes and open our hearts and give our hearts wholeheartedly before our God who’s seeing you right now. His name is El Roi. Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, King of kings and Lord of lord’s. Alpha and Omega. We come before you, we ask you to fill us with the rivers of living water, with the Holy Spirit anointing upon us. God we’re not asking this day for silver and gold we’re asking for your anointing, we’re asking for your revelation, your power come upon each of your children. Lord give them your revelation, give them your wisdom, Jesus Christ let your kingdom come in their lives, open the spiritual inward eye of their hearts. Lord turn every curse into a blessing in their lives Lord Jesus, always your goodness and mercy endures forever. We love you and thank you Jesus and thank you for touching your children. Only God to you be the glory and power forever. Let the Holy Spirit rest with every one of you. Amen!
