Blessings of the Merciful Father
Merciful Father:
God’s Mercy is bigger than any mistake. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy Mathew 5:7. God is merciful and his mercy is not limited. He is merciful to all his children. God is so unique in giving his people ways to fellowship, witness, and remember what a mighty and merciful God He is!
Short Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ bless us. Pour your mercy upon us. Lord helps us live happily in your mercy. God open our hearts. Speak to us and be with us. Lord, we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
Blessings of the Merciful Father:
The message is entitled “Blessings of the merciful Father” The key verse is II Corinthians 1:3 which says God is the ‘Father of mercy and compassion’. Psalm 67:1 He says ‘O God that You might bless me and that You might have mercy upon me, and make Your face shine upon me.’ What does that mean for God’s ‘face to shine upon me?’ When God pours out his mercy through his anointing upon us He will make our faces shine. In Deuteronomy 4:31 God is the merciful Father. He wants to pour out his unmerited compassion. If God is the merciful Father, how does he pour out that compassion upon us? By sending his son Jesus Christ who is very merciful. Mathew 14:14 and Mark 6:34 in both the places we can see how Jesus was so compassionate. Jesus himself is the mercy of God because mercy comes through salvation. We receive the compassion of God instead of being dead to our sins. We are alive in Jesus Christ Amen! Salvation means eternal life and healing. We can live in the kingdom of God in our lives, by believing the word. John 14:9 says as I live you will also live Amen! We need not live with the enemy or generational curses. We want to stand on the word of God and receive the resurrection power that can raise us, Amen! Zechariah 12:10 The Holy Spirit is merciful. He is in the Spirit of Grace and Mercy. Philippians 2:27 says there should not be sorrow after sorrow – let God be merciful unto us.
We may think in our lives and about our problems. We want to turn and we have to call on the mercy of God, and at that moment He will come unto us. He will bless us and touch us. God has sent his mercy to show the compassion that will touch us and will change us for eternity. It’s not about our talents, our degrees it is not about our qualifications. It’s simply about his unmerited compassion in our life. He wants to touch us. God has different purposes and plans. We try to use our finite mind and our natural understanding to understand the supernatural God. We have to stand in his word. Mathew 8:17 says ‘I died for your sickness and disease’ I peter 2:24 He said ‘I bore your curses, for cursed is the one who hangs on a tree.’ Isaiah 53:4,5 He said ‘I was pierced for your transgressions bruised for your iniquity by many wounds you were healed.’ Psalms 103:2,3 He said ‘forget not my benefits’. He forgives our sins and He heals our sickness and diseases. Deuteronomy 7:13to15 He says ‘I heal you because I love you.’ Healing is a covenant promise the same as salvation. God will meet us where our faith is. When Moses asked in Deuteronomy 34: 6,7 He said God who is you. He said I am the Father of mercy. Our God is so merciful. Psalms 38:3,5,7 says sometimes sin causes sickness in our life. We have to repent for our every sin. We have to open the door for the mercy of God to come in. Generational curses can cause sickness in our life. But He gives blessings for thousand generations of those who love Him as in I Chronicles 16:15. We need to break the curses and move forward and our loving God will bless all our generations. We were not able to understand everything in our life. We want to keep trust in God and want to believe God’s word. So, He will send his mercy and heal you. In James 2:13 it says the mercy of God triumphs over all judgement.
God’s Mercy is Unmerited Compassion:
When we yield and surrender mind, body, soul, and spirit, God will increase and you will decrease as in John 3:30. He will come and show his mercy. Jesus was walking through Jericho. Jericho was a cursed city. In Joshua 6:26 it says ‘cursed are the ones who rebuild this city’ after it was torn down by Joshua. In Deuteronomy 23:5 It says the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you.
What are the Blessings of Abraham?
Galatians 3:13,14 says that God will turn our curse into a blessing and give us the blessing of Abraham. In Genesis 12:2, Hebrews 6:14, and Genesis 22:17 in all these places He says ‘I will give you a great name. I will bless those who bless you, curse those who curse you.’ Bible says gossip is like witchcraft. When we speak wrongly about any person who is a child of God, at the moment curse will come into our life. So, we have to be very careful. He gives us the blessing of Abraham. He says ‘I’ll bless you and give you descendants as numerous as the grains on the seashore, the grains of sand and the stars in the heaven.’ He says, ‘I will bless you, and surely, I will multiply you.’ God, this day, by his mercy wants to bless you and multiply you. Amen. Hallelujah. We must believe it in our lives. We must have faith in Jesus. Faith might move mountains but your tears and your cry moves the heart of the Maker of Heavens and the Earth. When you start to cry out for Him, He will cry for you, and the devil stops. We have to lift the name of Jesus. We have to let Jesus touch us and enter us and fill us all of us, until there are rivers of living water flowing from us. There is life in Jesus Christ. John 1:4, John 8:12. In I John 1:8 in all the places it says Jesus is the light of the world. When you let him come into your, life the darkness will turn to light. James 1:6to 8 says we must believe we should not be double-minded and unstable. We should expect nothing from God. He will meet you at a right time. Mark 5:25 to 34 with the issue of Blood, women touched Jesus with faith and she got healed. We have to touch in faith. God will show them mercy he says call on my name and I’ll say I’m here he says in Psalm 50:15 in your times of trouble call on me I’ll deliver you says the lord by his mercy today when you call on him, he’s going to deliver you he says in Jeremiah 33 :3 he says in your times of trouble call on the Lord he will show you great and mighty things. God is perfect. God knows everything. he can do everything with God all things are possible in Mathew 19:26. God is going to pour out his mercy.
Blessing Prayer:
Dear God, I come to you as a sinner who is undeserving of your grace and presence. I repent all my sins and ask you to forgive me. Lord, have mercy on me and fill me with your grace. Wash me with the blood of your son Jesus Christ that I may shine and walk unashamed. God your mercies keep me alive and give me hope to live every day. I pray that your enduring mercy is the light that guides my life. I shall dwell in your presence every day of my life. Amen!
