Glory Night Week 18 - David Turner International Ministries

Glory Night Week 18

Holiness at Night:

Glory is the presence of God that manifested in visible form. God himself doing his works and operating according to his sovereignty and initiative. Romans 1:17. The primary link to the holiness of God is prayer. Knowing God’s holiness brings the wonders and healing this night.

Appeal to God:

I will praise him in the name of the Lord my God who is the wonderful counsellor the mighty God everlasting father. Let’s close our eyes and open our hearts and come before the Lord. You are the God of Heaven and Earth. God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Israel. You are Jehovah, you are Jesus Christ you are the Holy Spirit, God you are the three are one in the heavens. The Lord God Almighty we come before your throne of grace and mercy not because we’re good and righteous but because of your tender mercy you are the Living God. True God, we came to hear from you tonight we’re excited to be in your presence to hear the word of your grace. Oh Lord Jesus Christ, your name your word brings transformation Lord, we yield and surrender mind body soul and spirit; God have your way in us tonight. Let your word go forth God. We want to see miracles and wonders. Come in mercy tonight and pour upon your people. Be with us and bless us this night in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Jehovah Elyon:

Believing that God’s going to do something amazing this night. You came with an expectation Acts 3 :1 to 8 When Peter said the man at the gate beautiful “silver and gold I have none, but what I have, I give unto you” and he said to the man “rise.” What he had to give him was the Holy Spirit. So, we have to come expecting God to speak to us. Expecting him to do something in our lives tonight. Expecting that when we meditate on the names of God, Jehovah Rapha the Healer, Jehovah Shalom, God is our Peace, Jehovah Nissi, God is our Victory and our Banner. We have to meditate upon his name, and we also get a glimpse into what is the blessing we get by his name Jehovah Raffa is your God, you get the Blessing of Healing, Jehovah Jireh You get the Blessing of Provision. He shows many ways under one name to bless you. We don’t gain anything in our lives and we don’t get anything by just thinking and meditating. We get everything we need to meditate, when we meditate on Jesus Christ, God will give the sacrifice, mercy, grace, and love, upon us. So, we need to prepare to meet our God “Jehovah Elyon”, In Amos 4:12 key verse is “Hear Oh Israel prepare to meet your God.” So, we’re going to meet with our God, Jehovah Elyon. The second key verse is in Psalms 7:17, it says “I will praise the name of the Lord my God according to his righteousness, I will praise the name of the Lord Most High” so, this is the night that we’re going to meditate on our God Jehovah Elyon, and we’re going to meet our God. Jehovah Elyon means the Lord Most High. So God Almighty, Jehovah Elyon wants to raise us like the flagpole. You know Ephesians 2: 6 says we are seated in the heavenly realm with Jesus Christ. We will be seated in the heavenly realm with Jesus, or we are already seated in the heavenly realm with Jesus Christ. So, God is telling us “I’m the Lord Most High, I’ve seated you in the heavenly places in the heavenly realm.” I always like to say we’re not fighting for victory. We’re fighting from victory. You see the difference if you’re in the heavenly realms, if you’ve got the wisdom of Jesus Christ. His mind is not our mind Isaiah 55: 8 9 His thoughts are not our thoughts. When Jesus is speaking, he’s not distressed because he’s already speaking from victory, that we’re fighting from victory, not fighting for a victory. So, the Lord wants us to be seated in the heavenly realms with Jesus, where he has already placed us and where he wants us to be. Who is it that God wants to raise, and raise on high? The answer is that he wants to lift those who know his name. In Psalm 91: 14 God says “Because you have placed your love on me, I will deliver you I will lift you on high, because you know my name” so that’s where the victory comes. We have to spend the time placing our love on him, knowing his name and he will deliver you. He’s going to lift you back up. So this is the night that we’re going to meet with our God Jehovah Elyon, and with his Son, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whose name is above all names. Philippians 2: 9 to 11. We’re going to pray and we’re going to see the miracles of Jesus. I believe this word is going to be revolutionary.

We’re going to talk about Jehovah Elyon. The first thing is Jeremiah 6:16. In the bible the first one, is the life of Jacob. God lifted him from the place of deception. Jacob means he’s a deceiver, a supplanter and a heel grabber. In Genesis 25: 22 to 26, the first thing we see with Jacob, it says even in his mother’s womb he was fighting with his brother and grabbing his heel on the way, out that’s in verse 31. It says he took his brother’s birthright for a bowl of stew. He bartered and traded with him and snookered him out of it. What is our birthright? Our birthright is the kingdom of heaven. Our birthright is the name of Jesus, and we have the power to heal the sickness and demons, to walk in a righteous and in a holy way so that the ground will shake where we walk, and that is our inheritance. That is our birth-right – it is heaven – it is eternal life. We are constantly selling our birthright to a bowl of stew. Every time we slander a person, even if we’re just praying for them, we’ve just sacrificed the power that Jesus died to give us because our words carry power. Hebrews 11:3 God spoke the world into being. We can speak healings and bones to restore, but every time what we do, is we’re giving up that healing when we walk away from that, for a bowl of stew. Anytime we sell ourselves out for something and fail to follow the way Jesus showed us, we’ve just given up our birthright. Maybe, it’s not to say we can’t get it back, which Esau couldn’t. So, we want to be careful, because you know what happened with Esau when he realized, he begged God to give him another chance and to give it back, and God said no. It was about not giving up the birthright that was given to him, by valuing it more than that. The reason why we live in such fear and such shame and such difficulty, is that truly who we are has been completely lost to us. We could ever see the reality of who we are, and the reality is not what you see in the mirror, or not what your degree says, or what other people have told you or even what your parents told us – that we don’t have to buy that. We don’t have to receive that, we don’t have to believe it – so that’s not who we are. We have to understand the power that is holding your birthright over the bowl of stew, that might fill you. We were talking about Jacob; he sold his birthright for a bowl of stew and Malachi 1: 2 it said God loved Jacob more than Esau. God loves everybody equally. God gave us a will to be free in this world. God created us with free will, but at the same token he already knows what decisions we’re going to make and what we’re going to do, and what God was hating was not the person of Esau, any more than we hate a person. We have to love the person, we hate the enemy that’s within them. Esau thought so little of his birthright that he gave it up just like that for a bowl of stew. That’s the point – he didn’t give it up for like 80 acres of land or for a beautiful wife, he gave it to Jacob for a bowl of stew. It was going to be gone in two minutes – and what does that say to us about what God thinks about the choices we’re making in this world? If we hide our faith and we hide the cross, because some liberal person doesn’t like it? I’m not saying for your whole life, but at that moment you choose the comfort of people over the inheritance of your God. So where do we become like that? Somehow as Christians we’ve said; “that’s why God hated Esau, you know Jacob had blond hair and Esau was brown and God didn’t like brown hair” No! It was because he knew his attitude was that he did not value his birthright. When we value our birthright, it will overcome things like the fear that we have, or the insecurities or the mindsets that people have put on us in our life. Genesis 27:15 to 29 says Jacob put on hair like his brother and he steals his brother’s blessings from his father. I want to tell you something today you go around and see somebody who’s dying they will fight for the money. They’re fighting over the inheritance. If we go back to the Old Testament, they never fought for the money they fought for their blessings. Blessings are very significant in our life. No matter what we have done in our lives God’s love in us never changes. Especially when we have a heart for him and when we know his name. In Genesis 32:22to 29 and Hosea 12:3to5. Jacob went to river Jabek (emptying place) he kneels before the river and he wrestles with the angel of God. God is saying that when you meet with the Lord Most High, that changes your life, your mindset, that removes your fear, take away your insecurity and that vaults you to the level and mindset of Jesus, and heals your body. When people are coming for healing, unless we empty ourselves, we can’t receive it. In Psalms 66:18 If we hide iniquity in our hearts, then God won’t hear our prayers. When you empty your life and when you enter in, God will fill up with Glory, Power, Hope & Miracles. We want to see the fullness of the move of God in our life. God said ‘”You will be Israel” (reign with kings and princesses) not Jacob. God raised him. We see in Genesis 45:7 to 9 Israel came into the understanding of God. In Proverbs 3:5,6 it says “lean not on your understanding, acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make your path straight.” We have to understand according to the word of God. When we do that automatically our spirit lines up and our mind lines up, and we start making great decisions. If we want a revival of the kingdom of God, the revival is a transformation that starts in one person and that starts to spread. The revival changes your heart, changes your life. Jacob was in faith warriors Hebrews 11:21. God raise him. Jehovah Elyon, raised him and he made him a great nation. The children of Israel turned from God. Deuteronomy 32:15 says God is waiting for them to repent and return to him so he can lift them like Jacob. God is waiting for us to turn to him to get his mindset, so he can lift us and give us the blessing. We see David for a few minutes. He was just a shepherd but God saw him differently 1Samuel 16:7 says man looks at the outside, but God looks at the heart and he had a heart after God’s. Acts 13:22 God raised him as a king. Psalms 113:7,8 &Psalm 49:2 says Jehovah Elyon – He can raise. He said in I chronicles 17:16 to 20 He says “Who am I oh God, and what is my family that you’ve brought me this far, only because of your own plans purpose and your own heart’s desire have you done these great things for me!” This is the heart of David before God and that’s why Jehovah Elyon lifted him. God made three covenants with David Isaiah 55:3 The covenant of light, II chronicles 13:5 The covenant of salt. II chronicles 21:7. Jesus walked on this earth as a descendant of David Mathew 1:1, Mathew 5:13,16 says you are “the salt of the earth, you’re the light of the world.” Psalms 27:4 He said “I dwell in your presence forever” like that we want to dwell in his presence in our life. Psalms 3:1to3 He said “I want to see God’s glory and God’s power.” Psalms 143:8to10 he said “I wake up early to hear the word of your grace and to obey” so God lifts David’s life in high

The last thing is that God’s mercy will lift you on high Lamentations 3:21 to23 says “His mercy never comes to an end.” We just meditate on the mercy of God tonight Psalms 103:11 says “As high as the heavens are above the earth. God’s mercy is towards those who fear him.” In Proverbs 14:2, when we believe and sacrifice in Jesus. We automatically get the mercy of God and the blessings of Abraham. “Grafting in” is taking a thing and turning it into a whole different thing and in II Corinthians 5:17 says we are new creation once were in Jesus we have been grafted in. Amen. Revelation 1:6 In your life when you meet with Jehovah Elyon, He will take you from a place of deception and from a place of being a supplanter in your life. He will take you on high and He will give you worth and honor. Amen.

Blessing Prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ God immortal invisible only God. To you be the glory and power forever and ever. Thank you, God, to see your healing tonight. We give you the praise and the glory. I just pray that your word would be like the seed in great fallow land. Lord Jesus Christ, that has been put in and that will be received. The seed is the word in the parable of the Sower. I pray Lord Jesus, that the word is going forth in good soil and that it will spring up and it will create such a harvest in your children God, thank you, Jesus, we love each other and your children so much. Thank you for bringing them tonight. Lord Be with us. We’re so grateful we honor you and we thank you for what you’ve done in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May the love of the Father God the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship in you of the Holy Spirit rest with every one of us Amen!
