God of Mercy

Definition of Mercy:

Mercy means compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy or other person. Is one’s power in compassion. God is merciful. He is the sole provider of mercy, and He is driven to be merciful. Mercy is so powerful. God the Father showed mercy on us when he sacrificed his Son, Christ Jesus, on the cross to pay the price of our sins.

God of Mercy:

The message is to entitled ‘God of Mercy’. Be blessed. In Deuteronomy4:31, the bible says our God is a merciful God. Amen! Nehemiah 9:17 and Hebrews 4:14 in both the places say Jesus Christ is our merciful.

What is Mercy?

Mercy is unmerited compassion. God has unmerited compassion for us. How does He give us that unmerited compassion? By sending his son Jesus to this earth. He was born for us. He walked a sinless life. He died upon the cross. He rose from the dead on the third day and walked the earth for 40 days. Then He ascend to the heavens, and in Mathew 9:13 it says that Jesus Christ is seeking the mercy – the unmerited compassion – of the Father. It turns us into the righteousness of God Amen! James3:13 says the Mercy of God, whose name is Jesus Christ, triumphs overall all judgment Amen! When God Almighty sends you his mercy, He will remove every shame from our life. Sinners like Zacchaeus, and apostle Paul I Timothy 1:15 were the ‘chief sinners’. We may be the chief sinners but there is a mercy for us. When God sends his mercy, he is going to make our faces shine.

In the Bible Book of Exodus 2:12 it shows that Moses was a murder. The bible says in Romans 9:16 that God says ‘I will have compassion’ Exodus 3:1 to 6 God reveals himself to Moses, He says ‘I am the God of Abraham, God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, God of your forefathers. In the book of Exodus 4 :1 to 20 He takes Moses and turns him into a great leader and then ultimately, he becomes a friend of God. Moses went from a murderer to the friend of God; not only will His mercy save you, the bible says in Proverbs 28:13 ‘whoever so will confess and forsake their sin will have mercy.’ Amen! God fulfilled his plan and purpose through his life and then God made him a prophet. God would speak to him face to face as a friend, and on the other side he turns him into a great leader. If we are willing to spend time in the presence of God your face will glow like Moses, because we have the new covenant. We have to spend time in the presence of Jesus. We are glorious people, we need to walk in the glory of God; it is available to us. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us not only, he will deliver us, and also, He will take us from glory to glory. II Corinthians 3:17 and Romans 2:11 say that He is not a respecter of the person. What he did for Moses, He will the same thing in our lives. Amen! In the book of Exodus 4:1 to 20, God told Moses to throw the stick. Moses threw it and it became a serpent. Colossians 2:15 says Jesus Christ has already crushed the head of the enemy on our behalf from the foundation of the world. He has given us the same authority. In Mark 16: 17 to 20 it says we also can pick up the serpents and the scorpions and we will not be hurt. We must believe and walk in the presence and in the glory of God. His mercy will be all around you. Amen. In all our lives we have so much baggage and so much garbage and so many issues behind us and the enemy is always wanting to bring it up to you. He always wants you to go backward and he always wants you to walk in fear of your past. We still have Egypt in us – the fear of the past, and enemy is constantly reminding us of who we were. But God said that we are now the child of the highest God; we are His sons and daughters. John 1:12 we must hear when God is calling us. Hebrews 8:12, Isaiah 43:25 says no more will He remember your sins Isaiah 1: 18 says though our sins were a scarlet He makes us white as snow. Psalms 103:11,12 says I have remembered your sins as far as the east is to the west, we must understand this is the mercy of God whose name is Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 says that ‘I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.

We must come back to Jesus. We must fully come and walk in the Spirit of our Living God. He is looking for the true worshippers that will worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Amen. If God tells us to do anything it never goes wrong. If we do anything to impress the people it always goes wrong. If the Holy Spirit does something to you it never offends, when a man does it, it always offends. So, say always “Yes” to God. The word of God is alive and active Hebrews 4:12 the word of God speaks; when the word of God goes forth I Peter 1:12 the Holy Spirit will do the work Psalm 107:20. He will send his word and heal you. He is Jehovah Rapha the Lord who heals, as the bible says in Exodus 15:26. Amen. Come back to Jesus. He will remove your shame, He will make your face to shine, he will make you a leader. He will bless you, and Jesus Christ will never let you be put to shame. When you go from one place to another, do you have to ask your arms and legs to come with you? Do you have to check your nose is there? No! Jesus says ‘wherever you go I will come with you’. That’s the confidence we want to have in our God. We have to faith in Jesus because he is gracious and merciful, He loves us. and He wants us in all in heaven. He wants to heal us. He wants to touch us. We all must to give glory to God.

Blessing Prayer:

Dear Father God, I praise and thank You for Your loving-kindness and great mercy. Thank You for the glory of the cross. Dear God, I come to you as a sinner who is undeserving of your grace and presence. I repent all my sins and ask you to forgive me so that my request may be heard by you. Lord, have mercy on me and fill me with your grace. Wash me with the blood of your son Jesus oh, may the Love of the Father, the God of grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit rest upon each one of us till you come a second time Amen!
