Whatever you do shall Proser

Prosperity in God:

Prosperity comes from the contract between God and humans. If humans have faith in God, God will deliver security and prosperity. God measures our prosperity with the yardsticks of obedience, faithfulness, and righteousness.

“For I know the plans I have for you,Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,Plans to give you hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11

Whatever you do shall Proser:

The Message is entitled “Whatever you do shall prosper” The key verse is Psalms 1:1to 3 it says blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and upon it, he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by streams of living water. Whatever he does shall prosper.

The first condition is in the first line; blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. God wants to prosper us. To receive this prosperity we must not walk in the counsel of the world, not in the counsel of the ungodly, we must walk in the counsel of Almighty God Amen!

What is? Who are the ungodly?

Bible tells us that ungodly are those who disregard the truth and deny the power of God. Psalms 14:1 says fools say in his heart that there is no God. Also in II timothy 3:5, the character of the ungodly is that they are ungodly, they can have a form of godliness but they deny the power of God.

Characteristics of the ungodly:

The first characteristic of the ungodly is that they may be prospering but they lose their soul. In Psalm 73:2 it says ‘Behold the ungodly are at ease they want to enjoy their life and want to constantly increase in wealth and riches.’ The key is that the riches are a snare to their lives. God is not saying that we cannot enjoy our lives, or that we cannot increase in riches. But He is saying nothing can be above God Almighty otherwise it becomes an idol to us and a snare to our life, and cause us to lose our soul. We can prosper only if our hearts and intentions are right towards God.

King David had the right heart. It talks about him in Acts 13:22. David said ‘I would dwell in your house and seek your presence and do not take your presence from me.’ This is David’s priority, not the riches, not the ease of life. We want to ask for God’s presence in our life, we can know the presence of God. In Mathew 6:33 it says we seek first the kingdom of God and God’s presence and all these things will be added to us. This is the most important thing in our lives, and we are selling our souls otherwise. We have to see money is not the issue. Bible says in I Timothy 6:10 that love of money is the root cause of the evil. When we love it so much, we will run after the world, turning us into ungodliness. In Mark 8:36,37 it says what good is it if a man gains the whole world and yet loses his soul, and for what would a man give for his soul Amen! In Luke 12:16to 21 How there’s a wealthy man, and the bible says he has build all this wealth, and yet God says ‘you fool.’ He calls him a fool! Why? Because He says ‘I require your very soul.’ The ungodly are constantly wanting more and more and more. they are cunning and there’s never enough, and they’re willing to lie cheat and steal to get it. But we must not be like this, Amen! John 3:27 says unless it comes from heaven, we get nothing. We should not sacrifice our soul and eternity and place in the kingdom of heaven and we must walk in the counsel of Almighty God.

The second characteristic is the ungodly is that they continuously grow and increase in ungodliness. II Timothy 2:16 Paul says shun profane and idle babbling for it will increase to more ungodliness. Amen. The more we walk in godliness, the more we walk in God’s counsel, the more we become like Him. The more we walk towards ungodliness in our lives, the more it continues to increase and get worse in our lives.

The third characteristic of the ungodly is that they pervert God’s grace. They turn it to lewdness and they deny the Lord Jesus Christ. They are mockers and they turn to ungodly lust. These are the characteristics in the counsel we must learn to avoid in our lives if we want God to prosper us. Amen Romans 5: 6 to 9 says that while we were ungodly, Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross; he shed his blood and was resurrected, and then he ascended into heaven so that we could have the righteousness upon our lives. Amen. This righteousness does not come from what we do but this righteousness comes from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ,

and believing his promise. Because of his sacrifice there is the righteousness of God for us, as we walk in his counsel and believe his word – that will be upon your head. In Psalms 5:12, and Proverbs 3:33 we must believe the sacrifice of Jesus Christ; his birth, death, and resurrection for the righteousness in our lives, and we must stop turning back to the ungodliness. We must believe in Jesus Christ and walk forward into his blessedness. The bibles says; when they turned from ungodly ways and they followed the counsel of God, God prospered them, Amen!

Life of Noah:

Hebrews 11:7, Genesis 6:9 to 14 Noah had godly fear when he received the word from God to build the ark, he immediately began to obey. The bible says in Jeremiah 11:7 we must be quick to obey the word of God and when we do Jeremiah 1:12 it says He will hasten his word John 1 :1 and Revelation 19:13. Jesus Christ is the word of God so when we obey, God will quickly send Jesus Christ whose blood is sacrificed for us and immediately pours out the righteousness upon our lives. People who gave Noah the bad worldly counsel but instead, he believed the word of God, and he began to build the ark and he became a preacher of righteousness. He was saved when the flood came because of his obedience and walking in the counsel of God. When we walk in the counsel of God and do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly God not only saves us, he also saves our family and He will give us glory and prosperity.

Life of Abraham:

In Joshua 24: 3to 5 we see his parents were ungodly. Not only were they idol worshippers they were idol makers. God called Abraham, and instead of listening to ungodly counsel, he listens to the counsel of God and he obeyed the word of God. So, God said to Abraham; ‘I will make you a great name.’ When we walk in the counsel of Almighty God the blessing of multiplication will be poured upon our life and whatever you do shall prosper. Isaiah 25:1 says only Gods counsel is trustworthy, faithful, and true. When you follow Gods counsel, you will prosper abundantly. This is how the blessing comes to our life. When we walk in the righteousness of God, he will prosper us. When we walk in God Almighty, he says He will do miracle signs and wonders in our lives, and he will make us great says Jeremiah 32:19. There are promises for us in the bible. Psalms113:7,8 says He will raise you out of the dust and ashes and set you before the kings and princes; this is what God wants to do for you when you obey his godly counsel. Deuteronomy 1 11 says that He will make you a thousand times more than what you are, when you come out of the ungodly council and the wicked counsel of the world and you begin to follow the council of Almighty God in your life. Amen! If we walk in His godly counsel then you understand what God is asking of you, what he’s telling you to do, and then you must be quick to obey it in your life. We see finally Enoch’s Book of Hebrews 11:5,6 and also in the book of Genesis 5:22 to 25 it says that Enoch walked with God and God was pleased. Because of that God blessed him. Do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, in the counsel of the world, but instead consider God’s word obey his word. Walk in his godly counsel and I tell you today, whatever you do it will prosper.

Blessing Prayer:

Let us pray together, open our hearts and believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Israel, God, we humble ourselves before you. Today we are coming not asking for silver and gold, we come like King David to ask that you never take your presence from us. Oh God, that you would help us and bless us, Oh God as we would turn to your godly counsel and not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, and the worldly and the wicked. Lord Jesus Christ help us walk in the righteousness of God Almighty through your birth, death and resurrection. Be with them and bless them Lord Jesus Christ Amen!
